From birth to Janazah — Islam at every stage of life
Clear guidance from the Quran and Sunnah for every stage of a Muslim’s life, with the Sukon tools and verified services that help at each step.
1. Birth and the first days
- Thank Allah and share the good news with family.
- Many families say the adhan softly in the baby’s right ear, a practice handed down from early Muslims.
- Tahnik: soften a date and gently rub it on the baby’s palate, as the Prophet ﷺ did (Sahih al-Bukhari 5467).
- Choose a good name with a beautiful meaning.
- On the seventh day: Aqiqah, shaving the baby’s hair and giving charity (Sunan Abi Dawud 2838; Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 1522).
2. Childhood
- Teach Bismillah, short surahs and simple duas from the first years.
- Begin Salah gently from age seven, as taught in the Sunnah (Sunan Abi Dawud 495).
- Start Qaida and Quran reading with a patient teacher.
- Model good character: honesty, kindness and respect for elders.

- Learn the basics of belief, worship and halal and haram.
- Build the habit of praying five times a day on time.

6. Hajj and Umrah
- Hajj is due once in a lifetime for every adult Muslim who is able.
- Prepare early: savings, health, documents and learning the rites.
- Umrah can be performed at any time of the year.
- For a loved one who has passed away or cannot travel, Badal Umrah can be arranged.

- Encourage the dying person gently to say “La ilaha illallah”.
- After death: close the eyes, make dua, and inform family; hurry with ghusl, kafan, Janazah prayer and burial.
