Islamic marriage counselling
Request · our team arranges it
Kind, confidential help before and after Nikah — from trained counsellors who understand your deen, with verified scholars for religious questions.
How we can help
Before Nikah
Pre-marriage sessions on expectations, roles, finances, in-laws, mahr and the rights of husband and wife.
Newly married
Settling in together: communication, shared decisions, family boundaries and building good habits of worship at home.
Couples in difficulty
Help with arguments, trust, distance or stress — with the aim of islah (reconciliation) where it is safe and right.
Family and in-laws
Guidance for tension between spouses and wider family, joint-family living and caring for elderly parents.
Parenting
Raising children with deen and kindness, screen time, teenagers, and parenting together after a separation.
Hard decisions
When a marriage may be ending: space to think clearly, and a referral to a scholar for talaq, khula or iddah questions.
How it works
Send a request
Fill in the short request form. Choose online or in person, your language and a convenient time. You can book alone or as a couple.
We call you
Our team calls or messages you within 2 working days to understand your need and match you with a suitable counsellor. You can ask for a male or female counsellor, where available.
Your session
Sessions last about 50 minutes, by video call, phone or in person where available. Couples may also have separate sessions.
Follow-up
Your counsellor agrees next steps with you. Religious questions are passed, with your permission, to a verified scholar on Sukon’s panel.

What you share stays private. Notes are kept securely and only your counsellor can see them.

Counsellors respect your madhhab and family traditions and never pressure you.

Common questions
Is Sukon marriage counselling only for married couples?
No. It is for people preparing for Nikah, newly married couples, couples facing difficulties, parents, and families who want help with a family matter.
Are my sessions private?
Yes. What you share stays between you and your counsellor. We only share information if someone is at risk of serious harm or the law requires it, and we tell you first wherever we can.
Who are the counsellors?
Trained counsellors who understand Islamic family values, working with verified Imams and scholars from Sukon’s panel when a religious question needs an answer. Every counsellor is identity-checked before taking sessions.
Can the counsellor give me a fatwa on divorce or khula?
No. Counsellors help you talk, understand and decide. Questions of Islamic ruling, such as talaq, khula or iddah, go to a qualified scholar, and legal questions go to a lawyer.
Is Sukon a matchmaking service?
No. Sukon does not arrange marriages or introduce partners. We offer counselling and guidance only.
What if I am not safe at home?
If you are in danger, call 112 now. Women in India can also call the Women Helpline 181. Your safety comes before any counselling or reconciliation.
Sukon is a product of INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED. Counselling on Sukon is guidance and emotional support; it is not medical treatment, a religious ruling or legal advice.
