Trust is not a feature added at the end. It is the foundation.
How we protect your privacy, verify every scholar and partner, and govern religious content.
Consent first
We collect only what each feature needs, ask before we collect, and let you view, correct and delete your data.
No data sold
Sukon never sells personal data and never requests or uses an advertising identifier. Your location is used on your device to show prayer times and the Qibla (it leaves your device only if you choose to open a map), and is never sold or shared with data brokers or advertisers. Your faith-related activity — prayers, Quran reading, duas and giving — is treated as sensitive personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Data in India
Indian users’ data is hosted in India; additional regions are added only as Sukon expands to each market.
Built for Indian law
Designed for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Shariah governance
Sukon is forming a Shariah Advisory Board to review religious content, service definitions and Zakat methodology. Its members’ names, qualifications, schools of thought and review dates will be published on our Transparency page before online giving opens. Until then, every verse and hadith on Sukon carries its reference so you can check it, and personal rulings go to a qualified scholar.

How we will handle your Zakat and Sadaqah
- Zakat and Sadaqah are never Sukon revenue. Zakat is kept separate from voluntary giving.
- Money goes to the partner’s registered organisation account — never to a personal account.
- Zakat eligibility and routing will be reviewed by the Shariah Advisory Board once it is in place; until then no Zakat is passed to any partner that is not verified.
- Any processing cost is shown before you give.
- You receive the partner’s receipt (with 80G where the partner is registered for it) and a report of how the funds were used.
What we will publish
- The names of our verified giving partners
- The names of our Shariah Advisory Board members
- Any fees, and the share of each gift that reaches programmes
- A sample disbursement report
We will only show figures that are real, with the date they were last updated.
Our advertising promise
- Sukon shows no ads today.
- There will never be ads on Quran, prayer-time, Qibla, Dua, Makkah and Madinah, or giving pages.
- We never target anyone using faith data — prayers, Quran reading, duas, giving or service requests — and we never request or use an advertising identifier.
- Any future sponsorship is halal, clearly labelled “Sponsored” and reviewed before it goes live. Full rules: Advertising Terms and Advertise with Sukon.
