How it started
Sukon began with one question: why is it so hard to find Islamic guidance and services you can truly trust? This is the journey so far.
From a question to a live app
- 2024
The question
Our founders kept seeing the same problem in Kolkata and beyond: Muslims trusted forwarded messages, unknown agents and apps full of ads for the most important parts of their deen. We began sketching a calm app where every answer has a source and every rupee has a receipt.
- 2025
Building quietly
A small team in Howrah and Kolkata built the prayer engine, the Quran reader in many languages and the first service flows, and tested them with families, Imams and madrasa teachers.
- 2026
A company of our own
INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED was incorporated in West Bengal (CIN U62012WR2026PTC295588) to run Sukon under Indian law, with GST registration and a grievance officer.
- October 2026
Sukon goes live
www.sukon.in opened with free worship tools for 195 countries: Quran in 43 languages, prayer times, Qibla, Zakat, Dua Wall, eBooks and services arranged on request.
