Which method should I use?

Sukon picks the method most used in the country you choose. You can change it at any time. Different organisations use slightly different angles for Fajr and Isha, so times can differ by a few minutes.

Always follow the Jamaat times of your local masjid.

Far north or far south?

In places like the UK, Scandinavia and Canada, the sky may never get fully dark in summer. When that happens Sukon uses the widely used angle-based rule for Fajr and Isha, and marks those times with an asterisk (*).

Please note. Times are calculated with standard astronomical formulas and may differ by a minute or two from local timetables. Place search uses city data from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) and runs on your device. India users can also see our India prayer times page.
