FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Sukon.

Is Sukon available now?

Yes. The free tools are live today: the Quran in 43 languages, prayer times and Qibla for any city, the Islamic calendar, the Zakat calculator and more. You can create a free account, install the web app from your browser and request verified services, which our team arranges for you.

Is Sukon free?

Yes. Every core worship feature — Salah times, Qibla, the Ilm Hub, Learn Islam and Learn Quran — is free for everyone, everywhere, permanently. You pay only for services you request and confirm, such as an Imam’s service or an Academy course — the price is confirmed in writing in INR before you pay. An optional Premium tier will add conveniences, never access to guidance.

How are Imams and scholars verified?

Every Imam, scholar and teacher completes identity verification (KYC), credential checks, an interview and a code-of-conduct agreement before listing, followed by ongoing ratings and periodic re-verification.

How do I know a booked service was performed?

You receive proof of service — photos, video or a receipt — in the app, screened before delivery. Payouts to the Imam are released only after completion.

Where does my Zakat go?

Only to verified NGO and Waqf partners, audited before listing. You receive a disbursement report showing how each campaign’s funds were used.

Which school of Fiqh does Sukon follow?

You choose. Prayer times use your selected calculation method and Asr school, and where schools differ, each is presented respectfully.

Does Sukon sell my data or show tracking ads?

No. Sukon never sells personal data and never requests or uses an advertising identifier.

Which languages is Sukon in?

Today the website is in English, with pages in 19 more languages including Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Arabic, Tamil, Malayalam and Kashmiri (for example sukon.in/hi, /ur and /bn) and the Quran in 42 translation languages. More Sukon pages in Hindi, Urdu and Bengali come next, then Arabic and other languages as Sukon reaches new markets.

Can I use Sukon outside India?

Sukon serves India first and is expanding to the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait), then the UK, the United States and Canada. Families abroad can already request services for relatives in India; our team arranges them.

I am an Imam / run a mosque / an NGO. How do I join?

Imams and scholars: scholars@sukonapp.in. Mosques, madrasas, NGOs and Waqf bodies: partners@sukonapp.in.
