What does Sukon store on my device?

Only what the site needs to work: your sign-in session, language, city for prayer times, reading position and tracker progress. Most of this stays on your device.

What cookies and device storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar tools include local storage, session storage and the app cache. In this policy we call all of them “device storage”.

How to manage device storage

Sign out from your account to remove the session token
Uninstall the web app from your home screen to remove the offline cache
Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop sign-in and some tools from working

We process personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. You can ask to see, correct or erase your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to privacy@sukonapp.in. If you are not satisfied, contact our Grievance Officer.

Sukon has no website analytics today. If we add privacy-friendly visit counting or any new type of device storage, we will update this page and the date below before it goes live, and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
