Common questions
Is a Nikahnama enough as proof of marriage?
A Nikahnama is a valid record of the Nikah, but many offices, banks and embassies ask for a government marriage certificate. Registering avoids problems later.
How long does registration take?
It depends on the state and the office. Our team tells you the expected time for your district before you start.
Can we register after many years of marriage?
Yes. Late registration is usually possible with extra documents. We guide you through it.
