Sample · service proof
What a service proof contains
- Dated and time-stamped photos of each step of the service (for example each rite of Badal Umrah)
- A short video where the service allows it
- The name and Sukon verification ID of the Imam or performer
- The place, date and time, and the receipt
- Checked by the Sukon team before it is sent to you; faces of others are blurred
4. Verification steps
How we verify an Imam or scholar
- Identity check against a government ID
- Proof of qualification — certificate from the madrasa or institution
- A reference from a masjid committee or a known scholar
- An interview with the Sukon team
- Review every year, and after any complaint
How we verify a giving partner
- Registration certificate as a trust, society or Section 8 company, and PAN
- 12A and 80G certificates where the partner has them, and FCRA registration before any foreign money is accepted
- Last audited accounts
- A bank account in the organisation’s own name — never a personal account
- Governance: trustees, recent accounts and an annual report
- A site visit (or video call where a visit is not possible), then the whole check is repeated every year
