Sukon adds tafseer and word-by-word Quran, Daily Inspiration and a fasting companion
INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED · Howrah, West Bengal
Howrah, West Bengal, 22 October 2026 — INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED today released a major update to Sukon, its Muslim prayer, Quran and Islamic services platform at www.sukon.in.
Every ayah in the Sukon Quran reader now has two new options: Word by word, which shows each Arabic word with its transliteration and meaning, and Tafseer, with a choice of nine tafseers in English, Urdu, Bengali and Arabic, including Ibn Kathir, Ma’arif al-Qur’an and Tafsir al-Muyassar. The reader already offers 42 translations and 20 Arabic reciters.
The update also introduces Daily Inspiration, an ayah and a hadith for each day with full references; a Fasting companion with Sehri and Iftar times for the user’s location and every obligatory and Sunnah fast of the year; a Quran by subject index; and pages telling Sukon’s story and culture. Core tools now work offline once visited, and the Qibla compass has been rebuilt for steadier, more accurate readings.
“Every answer on Sukon has a source,” said the Sukon team. “Tafseer and word-by-word meaning help people understand what they recite, in the language of their heart.”
All worship tools on Sukon are free and need no sign-in. iPhone and Android store apps are planned.
